Emilie Allard, inf., Ph.D., is a professor at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Montreal. His work and research interests focus on palliative and end-of-life care, more specifically on the training of interdisciplinary teams and the education of the population in palliative and end-of-life care, support for informal caregivers, and the offers of end-of-life care in living environments. At the methodological level, his expertise is rooted in qualitative research and partnership approaches. It works in concert with several community organizations in palliative and end-of-life care as well as in close assistance in order to ensure consistency between the needs of the population and its research work, as well as to promote the development of At the Faculty of Nursing, she also takes a keen interest in the well-being of the student community, in particular through the development of initiatives to support the success of student parents. A room has also been set up in the Margueritte-D'Youville pavilion to accommodate parents who are studying and need space to take care of their children.
