Eloisa Urrechaga Igartua, PhD, is a Consultant for Clinical Chemistry in the laboratory of Galdakao Usansolo Hospital (Spain). She is an expert in the Spanish Science and Innovation Ministry and the Agency for Assessment of new technologies for research project validation. She is particularly involved in the development of new hematological parameters applied to the study of anemia and erythropoiesis, as well as the glycation of hemoglobin. Recently, recently publishing papers have been published dealing with the automation of biological parameters in iron deficiency, β-thalassaemia, anemia, and other erythropoiesis disorders.
