Dr. Ellen O'Keefe Turner is board-certified in dermatology through the American Board of Physician Specialties, as well as a board-certified in functional medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. She is proud to offer a complete array of dermatology services to her patients, including medical, cosmetic, surgical, and laser procedures. She also specializes in a wellness approach to medicine, focusing on the entire patient rather than just the skin.
Dr. Turner performed her medical school training at Texas Tech Medical School in Lubbock, and her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she received a strong clinical foundation for assuming the care of such dermatologic conditions as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer, and immunobullous diseases of the skin. In her medical practice, she enjoys a focus on elective aesthetic procedures such as Silhouette InstaLift (for which she is a Center of Excellence, and one of two physician training centers in the state of Texas), BOTOX, Voluma®, Juvéderm, Restylane, and other injectables, medical-grade chemical peels, and laser and light-based devices.
She is an Allergan Master Injector, attending training in 2007 with Dr. Mauricio DeMaio, and in 2021 was asked to be one of three injectors at the Allergan AMI Master Class under Dr. Deborah Sherman. She was one of ten injectors in the Dallas area asked to launch Qwo, the first FDA-approved injectable for the treatment of moderate to severe cellulite in the adult female buttocks.
Dr. Turner has personally designed the Dermatology Office in both its Dallas and Irving locations to provide the most current technology in dermatologic skincare, including Ultherapy®, CoolSculpting, the Sciton Profile Platform, Halo, RF microneedling, the picosecond laser, and the DiamondGlow.system.
