Ellen Armistead

Ellen has 30 years' experience in the NHS. Before joining CQC, she served as Chief Executive of Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. Services Ellen was responsible for included community nursing and therapy, primary care, urgent care centres, community hospitals, sexual health and smoking cessation, as well as children and family services. Before focusing on community services, Ellen worked in the acute sector and brings to her role her professional experience as a nurse. She has previously worked for CQC as a specialist advisor.
