Elizabeth Stokes RN, CDE

Working as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist for 25 years has taught me that successful outcomes can only be achieved by developing a skill set that matches the educational component to the learner’s needs. My passion for diabetes education lies in discovering the internal motivator of the participant and building upon their desire to make a change. I have developed excellent teaching and communication skills, and am very comfortable presenting to groups, whether for patient education, continuing education for fellow professionals, or as community outreach to such organizations as the local Lion’s Club.
