Dr. Elizabeth "Libby" Sherwin is a pediatric cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Children’s National Hospital and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and a member of the Pediatric and Congenital Electrophysiology Society (PACES).

She earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Psychology at the University of Virginia, then after a brief career in telecommunications earned her M.D. from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine (MCV). Her Pediatric residency then Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Electrophysiology fellowships were at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She worked in Vancouver, British Columbia, before joining the Children’s National Hospital in 2016. She practices clinical and interventional electrophysiology with special interests in arrhythmia treatment and ablation, cardiac implantable electronic devices, and sudden death and inherited arrhythmia evaluations and treatment. She leads the Cardiogenetics Inherited Arrhythmia clinic at Children's National.
