Elizabeth Laney PhD

Elizabeth Laney, Ph.D., is a senior psychologist on Menninger's Comprehensive Psychiatrist Assessment Service and an assistant professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Dr. Laney’s clinical interests include the supervision and training of psychologists, psychoanalytic treatment of trauma and attachment trauma, psychodynamic treatment of personality disorders, as well as motherhood and women’s issues.

She completed her master’s and doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University. She completed postdoctoral work at Rose City Center, a psychoanalytic training center in Pasadena, Calif., and a research postdoctoral training through Biola University.
