Elizabeth Forsythe PhD

Dr. Elizabeth Forsythe is a consultant in clinical genetics with a specialist interest in Bardet-Biedl syndrome, ciliopathies and therapies for rare genetic conditions. She completed her Ph.D. 'Genotype-phenotype correlations and therapies for Bardet-Biedl syndrome' in the Beales laboratory at the Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health in 2019 and completed her training in clinical genetics at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Elizabeth is based at Guy's Hospital and also works at Great Ormond Street Hospital in the Bardet-Biedl syndrome clinics as well as at St Thomas' Hospital where she runs clinical trials for rare diseases.
