Elizabeth Beckett is an Associate Professor within Adelaide Medical School, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. Elizabeth teaches within the Bachelor of Health & Medical Sciences, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and the MBBS (Medicine) degree programs and is the course coordinator of two large level II physiology courses: Physiology IIA: Heart, Lung & Neuromuscular (PHYSIOL 2510) and Physiology IIB: Systems & Homeostasis (PHYSIOL 2520).
Elizabeth completed a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Physiology at The Queen's University, Northern Ireland in 2000 and was awarded a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Physiology and Pharmacology from The University of Nevada, the USA in 2004. Elizabeth also has attained a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK).
