Elizabeth A. Samuels MD, MPH, MHS

Dr. Elizabeth Samuels, MD, MPH, is a Chief Resident in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is also a member of the Rhode Island Department of Health Drug Overdose Prevention and Rescue Coalition. In 2014, Ms. Samuels designed and implemented the Lifespan Opioid Overdose Prevention (LOOP) Program, which distributes naloxone to patients at risk of opioid overdose and their loved ones, and provides consultation with a peer recovery coach for outpatient addiction recovery services referral and support.
