Elizabeth Elliott Borntrager RN, MSN, NP

Elizabeth Borntrager, RN, MSN, NP, is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and the National Director of Behavioral Health Operations for Team health, one of the largest providers of post-acute services in the US. She is an active member of NCNA and served as the chair of the psychiatric council from 2015-2017. She has served as a clinical preceptor for psychiatric nurse practitioner students from UNC Chapel Hill. In her current role, Ms. Borntragerworks establishes and train both providers and operational support teams in behavioral health in the long-term care setting. She has a particular focus and passion for ensuring long-term care residents are neither over nor under-medicated while ensuring all state and federal regulations are met.
