Elissa Passiment EdM, MT(ASCP)

Elissa Passiment is a clinical laboratory scientist with over forty years’ experience in medical laboratory science as staff scientist, director of a Medical Laboratory Science Program and manager of Chemistry and Immunology at an academic medical center. She currently teaches courses on the renal system and disease, the utilization of laboratory services and CLIA regulations at Rutgers in the School of Health Professions. Elissa has also spent twenty years in health care consulting and health care policy. During her consulting tenure, she and her staff conducted studies and redesigned the work and the facilities for hospitals in the United States and Canada.
