Elisa D'este

Elisa D Este got a master degree in Medical Biotechnologies at the University of Trieste in 2008 defending a thesis in the field of molecular oncology under the supervision of dr. Licio Collavin. Afterwards, I attended the graduation program in Nanotechnology at the University of Trieste. I worked in the lab of dr. Dan Cojoc on a project entitled “Bio-sample environment manipulation using advanced microscopy techniques”. In 2012 I got a post-doc fellowship from Max Planck Institute and currently, I am working in the lab of prof. Stefan Hell, in the Nanobiophotonics department (MPI for Biophysical Chemistry, Göttingen). My focus is on the applications of optical far-field nanoscopy to neurosciences.
