Dr Elina Theodorakopoulou is a Greek and Dubai-licenced dermatologist, who specializes in regenerative aesthetics, in private practice in Athens, Greece, and Dubai, UAE. She has pursued Dermatology elective rotations, with honors, at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Denver, USA. She holds a PhD degree (honors) on the pathophysiology and psychosocial impact of skin conditions such as psoriasis, from the University of Manchester, UK. She has also extensive knowledge of clinical trials for psoriasis, eczema, and skin aging, as a clinical trials researcher, at the Clinical Trials Unit, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK. During her PhD, she was also an Academic Teaching assistant, for medical and dental sciences, at the University of Manchester. Her training in Aesthetic Dermatology is USA and Canada based, at the most prestigious clinics, including the Miami based, Shino Bay Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic, Dr Val Lambros-Cornona Del Mal Clinic, in California, the Colorado University Cosmetics Centre, in Denver, and the Victoria Park Medispa in Montreal. Her aesthetic approach to patients is influenced by both an artistic viewpoint as well as science, using cutting-edge scientific knowledge, techniques, and protocols, while her vision of the future of aesthetics is more of a regenerative approach. Her unique aesthetic technique called skin priming is a novel regenerative skin treatment with pan-facial improvements. She is a published author and speaker. She is the first aesthetic provider in Greece to have introduced the term Dissolving clinic, where she handles complications from injectables, with the use of facial ultrasound. She is a trainer on regenerative aesthetics for junior and advanced injectors, while a national and international speaker on new advances in the field.
