Elif Yilmaz Gulec MD

Elif YILMAZ GULEÇ, MD was graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine English Programme in 1999. She has completed her residency in pediatrics in 2004 in Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine, afterwards she has completed her residency in medical genetics in the same university in 2010. She is working at the Department of Medical Genetics in Kanuni Sultan Suleyman Training and Research Hospital of Health Sciences University in Istanbul , Turkey since 2010. She is still the head of the department. She has special interest and skills in genetic counseling, clinical genetics, dysmorphology, congenital malformations, skeletal dysplasias, antenatal diagnosis, fetal diagnosis. She has more than 10 articles primarily about neurodevelopmental genetics, dysmorphology, rasopathies and antenatal diagnosis in pubmed and several more conference papers in many national and international conferences. She has taken part as Trainer in Hemoglobinopathy Control and Training Programme in Istanbul in 2013.
