Elias Dayoub MD, MPP, MSHP

Elias Dayoub, MD, MPP is a fellow in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Dayoub’s research focuses on the translation of clinical trials to clinical practice in cardiovascular care. He is particularly interested in the adoption of new cardiovascular therapies into clinical practice, the cost and access implications of medical innovation, and using real-world data to examine the relationship between cardiovascular care and health outcomes. His work has been published in Circulation, JAMA, JAMA Cardiology, and JAMA Internal Medicine.

Dr. Dayoub received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School where he graduated from Alpha Omega Alpha. He also completed a Master's in Public Policy at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania as well as a fellowship in the National Clinician Scholars Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to beginning his medical training, he worked for an economic consulting firm advising clients in government and private industry on cost issues in health care.
