Elhadi Husein Aburawi MBBCh, DCH, MSc, PhD, FRCPI, FRCPCH, FACC

Professor Dr. Elhadi H. Aburawi (MB BCh, MMedSc, FRCPI, FRCPCH, FACC, Ph.D.). Professor at College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University and Senior Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is a graduate of Faculty of Medicine, Tripoli University, Libya. He is being a member of the Royal College of Physician of Ireland (MRCPI) since 1991. He is being a Fellow of the Royal College of Physician of Ireland (FRCPI) since 2003 and Fellow of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH), London. He received his fellowship from the American College of Cardiology (FACC), 2010. He received his Master Degree from the National University of Ireland, and Ph.D. from Lund University, Sweden. He worked at University College Dublin Hospitals, Ireland, Universities of Leeds and Newcastle Hospitals, UK and Lund University Hospital, Sweden. The areas of research interest include Congenital Heart Disease, Coronary blood flow, endothelial dysfunction, Coronary Heart Disease Risk Factors in Children with Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity. He is also has a research interest in the genetics of familial Arrhythmias and Animal lab. Study of Anaphylactic shock. He published in the medical literature of > 40 publications in peer review high-quality Journals.
