Sazonova Elena Nikolaevna in 1989 graduated with honors from the pediatric faculty of the Khabarovsk State Medical Institute. From 1989 to 1992 studied a postgraduate course at the Central Research Laboratory of the Khabarovsk State Medical Institute. In 1992 she defended her thesis on the topic "The influence of tripeptides on the proliferation processes in the epithelial tissue of white rats". From 1992 to 2005 she worked at the Central Research Laboratory of the Khabarovsk State Medical Institute as a senior researcher. In 2004 she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic "The influence of regulatory peptides on proliferation processes in various cell populations of albino rats at the early stages of postnatal ontogenesis". Since 2004, she has combined scientific work with teaching: she worked as an associate professor at the Department of Normal Physiology. In 2005, she was elected to the position of a leading researcher at the Central Research Laboratory of the Far Eastern State Medical University, in 2006 she was transferred to the position of professor at the Department of Normal Physiology. Since 2009, she has been the head of the Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology. In 2018 - elected to the position of vice-rector for scientific work at the Far Eastern State Medical University.
