Elena Pena Fernandez MD

Dr. Peña is an assistant professor in the Radiology Department of the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Medicine and a radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging’s Cardiothoracic and Emergency Radiology sections at The Ottawa Hospital.
She is involved in medical student, resident, and fellow training, as well as post-fellowship teaching. She is the resident supervisor for the cardiac imaging rotation and has been a lecturer at the Resident Review Course that has been held in Ottawa in March every year since 2010. She was the co-director for the past CME course entitled “Cardiopulmonary Imaging Update” held in June 2013 in Quebec City.
