Elena A. Christofides MD, FACE

Dr. Christofides is dual board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism as well as Internal Medicine. She received both her undergraduate and medical degrees from The Ohio State University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center and her fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. She is a Fellow of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), the highest honor in her specialty. She has served as President of the Ohio River Regional Chapter of AACE, President of the Ohio Chapter of the American Diabetes Association (ADA), Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of the Central Ohio Diabetes Association (CODA), and a member of its Board of Directors. She is affiliated with Mt. Carmel Hospitals and with Specialty Select Hospitals.
