Elad Firnberg PhD

Elad Firnberg is currently working as a Senior Scientist at REGENXBIO Inc. He had completed his Doctor of Philosophy at John Hopkins University. Elad Firnberg is a biomolecular scientist with experience in AAV capsid engineering, protein & antibody engineering, directed evolution, synthetic biology, gut microbiome and NGS bioinformatics. His passion is developing protein, cell and gene therapies that transition the medical paradigm from treatments to cures of diseases. He cofounded Revolve Biotechnologies to make PFunkel DNA library generation technology widely available for accelerating evolution of biomolecules. He currently, works on AAV capsid engineering for the next generation of gene therapies.
