Eileen Lew MBBS, MMed (Anaes)

Dr. Eileen Lew graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1996 and completed her training in Anaesthesiology in 2004. She completed her fellowship in Perioperative Medicine at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, the USA in 2003. Since 2004, Dr. Lew has been practicing at the Department of Women’s Anaesthesia, assuming headship from 2012 to 2017. Apart from clinical duties, Dr. Lew is also committed to the teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates. Her current research interest is in Patient Blood Management in obstetrics and defining the learning curve of obstetric neuraxial blocks in junior residents.
