Edwina Brown, Consultant Nephrologist, Imperial College Renal & Transplant Centre, Hammersmith Hospital, London. Honorary Professor of Renal Medicine, Imperial College London.

Her main clinical and educational interests are peritoneal dialysis, dialysis in the elderly, and renal supportive care. She is the principal investigator for FEPOD(Frail Elderly Patient Outcomes on Dialysis). Her other current research includes cognitive impairment in chronic kidney disease and how this impacts patient outcomes. She has published extensively on peritoneal dialysis and dialysis in the elderly and is the author/editor of several books. She is an honorary fellow of the British Renal Society and of the European Renal Association and is chair of the guidelines committee of the International Society of Peritoneal Dialysis.
