Edwin Phua

Mr. Edwin Phua started his journey with Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) since 2015 under the Management Associate Programme (MAP) and subsequently, the Management Executive Programme (MEP). As part of the program, he was rotated to various pivotal departments in TTSH where he took on key operations roles in Emergency Planning and Medicine department, as well as coordinating and preparing the hospital for Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation survey during his stint in Medical Affairs Department.

Today, Edwin has graduated from the program and he is part of the Division of Central Health under the Planning and Development department. He leads a team to facilitate collaborations and partnerships with community providers. Part of his efforts involves the engagement of partners through various platforms such as Neighbourhood Conversations and Central Health Action & Learning Kampung (CHALK) to improve Joined-Up care. He also helped in building awareness among the hospital staff on the challenges faced in the community through platforms such as Central Health Studio, InnoCanvas, and Powering Communities Application.

Edwin also supports the establishment of strategic financial levers and the transformation of the payment model to facilitate collaborations and care integration in the Central Health Zone.
