Dr. Edward Wang, has been with Stony Brook Orthopaedic Associates since 1996. He is an Associate Professor at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Dr. Wang specializes in treating complex and simple reconstruction problems of the shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist. He utilizes the most advanced proven techniques in arthroscopy, joint replacement, fracture and ligament repair, to restore function and minimize pain in the upper extremity. Dr. Wang is board certified in orthopaedic surgery with the a certificate of added qualification in hand surgery.

Dr. Wang graduated Summa Cum Laude with his Bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from the University of Miami, followed by his medical degree from the Yale University College of Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Wang completed an internship in General Surgery and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Wang also completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital.
