Edward (ted) F. Fogarty MD

Dr. Edward "Ted" Fogarty is a radiologist in Bismarck. His role as chairman of radiology at UND is primarily one of teaching and curriculum development for medical students and physician assistant students in the university. He was identified by the medical school administration as a gifted visual communicator and technology-savvy physician of the 21st century.

Under his leadership, UND's medical education curriculum will incorporate the latest medical imaging exams from the first day of Gross Anatomy into student learning. His goal for all students is to acquire a visual understanding of basic imaging studies at an early point in the education process so that this applied knowledge is more easily incorporated as the learning process progresses from clinical student rotations through internship and residency.
