Edward Sun MD, MBA, FASGE

Edward Sun, MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Stony Brook Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Dr. Sun earned his Medical Degree from St. George's University School of Medicine, Grenada. He then completed his Internship, Residency, Chief Residency, and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Stony Brook University Medical Center, Stony Brook, NY. While practicing Gastroenterology at both Stony Brook Hospital and at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Dr. Sun is concurrently pursuing his Masters of Business Administration at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Sun specializes in treating patients with upper and lower GI bleeding, abdominal pain, dysphagia, diarrhea, and acute liver injury.
