Edward Rupert has seen and experienced firsthand the consequences of repeated stressors involved with the First Responder life for over 50 years. In an effort to deal with his own experiences and the toll that it takes on his fellow First Responders, Ed began a lifetime journey to learn and effectively alter the negative effects on PTSI. He is currently a PhD candidate in Counseling Psychology which he refers to as a life goal, as a consequence of his prolonged exposure to repeated stressors from 42 years of Military, and Civilian Law Enforcement, while concurrently learning and participating in EMS, FIRE and Dive Rescue. He has served on the Advisory Board for Crossroads Safehouse for Domestic Violence Survivors, the Chair of the Poudre Valley Fire Protection District as well as the Advisory Board for ResponderStrong.
