Edward C. Cooper MD, PhD

Edward C. Cooper is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at the Baylor College of Medicine. He is board-certified in Neurology. He completed his Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy at the Yale University School of Medicine. His Clinical Interest is Membranes, Sodium Channels, Channelopathies, Cell Biology, Potassium Channels, Epilepsy, Seizures, and a Family History of Epilepsy. Cooper Lab is focused on understanding and developing new treatments for forms of epilepsy affecting infants, children, and adults, a mood disorder that often accompanies epilepsy, and related brain diseases.
