Edward C. Adlesic BS, MS, DMD

Dr. Edward C. Adlesic was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Pittsburgh and obtained a BS and MS in Chemistry and Forensic Chemistry. He attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine from 1976 to 1980 for his DMD degree followed by a 4 year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania training under Dr. Lionel Gold.

In 1984 he returned to Pittsburgh and established a private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which he maintains to this day. He served as Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital from 1991 to 2010. During that time he also served in the United States Army Reserve and was activated for Operation Desert Storm. Since 2014, he holds the rank of assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Adlesic is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is a Fellow in AAOMS and the ADSA.
