Edward A. Faber Jr., DO, MS, is a hematologist/oncologist and a regional leader in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of blood cancers. He specializes in incorporating recent advances in research into current treatments, as well as bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies for various blood cancers.
Dr. Faber received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, PA. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, and a fellowship at Michigan State University in Lansing, MI. He also received a Master of Science in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and a Certificate in Healthcare Management from Pennsylvania State University's Behrend College in State College, PA. Dr. Faber is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
