Eduardo Vazquez Delgado DDS

Dr. Eduardo Vázquez-Delgado graduated in 1999 with a DDS degree from the University of Barcelona. That same year he joined the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Department of the General Hospital of Catalonia (Hospital General de Catalunya).

In 2001 he moved to the United States to join a 3-year residency program at the Orofacial Pain Center of the University of Kentucky, a department headed by Dr. Jeffrey Okeson, a world reference in the field of Orofacial Pain. He graduated at the completion of his residency program with the degrees of International Fellowship in Orofacial Pain, Certificate in Orofacial Pain, and Master of Science in Orofacial Pain by the University of Kentucky. Upon his return from the United States, he worked between 2003 and 2013 at the Temporomandibular Joint Pathology and Orofacial Pain Unit of the Teknon Medical Center (Centro Médico Teknon). He is currently Director of the CRANEOMANDIBULAR INSTITUTE in the city of Barcelona.

Dr. Eduardo Vázquez Delgado is the current President of the European Academy of Craniomandibular Disorders (EACD) and Past-President of the Spanish Society of Craniomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain (SEDCYDO). He is also member of the Research Committee of the EACD. In the area of university teaching he is author of several scientific publications in the field of temporomandibular disorders and orofacial pain and he is also Director of the Master's Degree in Craniomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain of the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM).
