Eduardo Guimarães Hourneaux De Moura PhD

Eduardo Moura holds a medical degree from the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Sao Paulo (1984), a Master’s degree in Medicine from the Brazilian Institute for Studies and Research in Gastroenterology - IBEPEGE (1985), a Ph.D. in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo - FMUSP (2000) and an Associate Professor for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Sao Paulo (2012).

He is currently Director of the Gastrointestinal and Broncho esophageal Endoscopy Unit of the Hospital das Clinicas of FMUSP, Advisor for the Graduate Program in Gastroenterological Sciences at FMUSP, Medical Collaborating Professor of the Discipline of Digestive System Surgery of the Gastroenterology Department. Supervisor of the Medical Residency Program in Endoscopy at COREME-FMUSP.

He has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Gastroenterology and Endoscopic Surgery, working mainly on the following topics: Endoscopic Treatment of Obesity and Complications of Bariatric Surgery, Endoscopic Treatment of Early Digestive Neoplasia, Diagnosis and Treatment of Biliopancreatic Pathologies (Choledocoscopy).
