Eduard Gratacos Solsona PhD

Eduard Gratacos is Director and Professor at BCNatal, a national and international referral center in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Hospital Clinic and Hospital Sant Joan de Deu, University of Barcelona. Previously, he was Head of the Fetal Medicine Units of the University Hospital in Leuven, Belgium (1999-2000) and the Hospital Vall d'Hebron in Barcelona (2001-2004). He has participated in the design of several of the fetal surgery techniques currently used, and in his over 16 years of experience, Prof. Gratacós and his team have performed over 1800 fetal surgeries. He has served as a board member and scientific chair at several international societies in maternal-fetal medicine, and as a reviewer/advisor to research institutions/systems and healthcare companies around the world. He is Editor-in-Chief of Fetal Diagnosis and Therapy.
