Edita Stokic MD, PhD

Prof. Dr. Edita Stokić, Full Professor of the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad, was born in Kikinda. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad in 1986, with an average grade of 9.96. She completed her postgraduate studies in Neuroendocrinology in 1991 with a master's thesis entitled "The state of prolactin secretion of the adenohypophysis in persons with various functional disorders of the thyroid gland". She defended her doctoral dissertation under the title "Effect of specific fat distribution on the development of metabolic complications of obesity" in 1997 at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad. She passed the specialist exam in Internal Medicine in 1994 and the sub-specialist exam in endocrinology in 1997.

He is the President of the DLV-SLD Internship Section since 2008, the President of the DLV-SLD Continuing Doctorate Education Commission since 2011 and has been the Vice President of the Serbian Obesity Studies Association and the Chair of the DLV-SLD Endocrinological and Metabolic Disorders Section in 2002 - 2004. He is a member of the Association of Endocrinologists of Serbia, Serbian Association of Medical Law, Association of Atherosclerosis of Serbia, Czech Atherosclerotic Society, European Atherosclerotic Society,
