Dr. Lang completed his residency in Family Medicine in 1992 and received his specialty certification in Emergency Medicine in 2000.
He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Calgary and holds the position of Senior Researcher with Alberta Health Services. His areas of interest are knowledge translation, evidence-based medicine, clinical practice guidelines and operations research.
Dr. Lang is an award-winning educator who has received recognition at the university, national and international level. He also serves in an editor role for a number of journals relating to emergency and internal medicine.
