Eddie J. French PhD, BSc

Eddie French is a visiting Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology and is associated with the Research in Medicines Design (ReMedDes) group. Eddie has a BSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in transdermal drug delivery, both from the University of Bath.

Professor French is currently an independent pharmaceutical sciences consultant to the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors specialising in drug product development. He was been contracted to the university on a part time basis for two years as the Director of Biopharmaceutical Development for the ReMedDes group. He was previously a lecturer at Bath in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmacology, before taking a career change and joining the pharmaceutical industry.
