Dr. Craven specializes in glaucoma and, most recently, was chief of glaucoma at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital (KKESH) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was the first U.S. surgeon to implant the iStent and the CyPass; as a result, he is active in expanding and educating about the role of micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries. Dr. Craven has led over 100 research trials and developed one of the largest ophthalmology clinical trial sites in the U.S. Dr. Craven received his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He then completed fellowship training in glaucoma at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.
