Dr. Dwarakanathan Ranganathan, MD, DM, FRCP, FRACP, FASN is an Associate Professor at the Griffith University. Dwaraka Ranganathan has more than 30 years of experience in caring for renal patients. He has published numerous articles in journals and presented several abstracts at conferences. He has a passion for teaching and cherishes research. He is a principal investigator of many investigator-initiated trials and in recent times obtained a grant for $ 200,000. He is a steering committee member of numerous clinical trials as well as the Australian Lupus Registry and Biobank. He took steps to establish the Queensland Renal biopsy Registry, a first of its kind in Australia. He is a member of the Rare Clinical Diseases Research Network- Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium and a member of the Australia New Zealand Vasculitis Group. He is one of the founding members of the Southern Chapter of the Indian Society of Nephrology and the Australasian Chapter of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis.

He is an educational ambassador and Mentor of the International Society of Nephrology. He is a fellow of the American Society of Nephrology. and lead. He collaborates (nationally and internationally) in many research areas including glomerulonephritis, autoimmune renal disorders, and home dialysis.
