Dr. Morrow was raised in Tennessee, but because both of his parents are from the Greenville area, he spent all summers and holidays in the area. He moved back home to Greenville in 2016 to help better integrate bedside ultrasound into emergency medicine and Greenville Hospital System.

He is the Division Chief for Emergency Ultrasound and the Director of Ultrasound Education at the USCSOMG. He attended medical school at Penn State College of Medicine where he met his wife and GHS Hospitalist Dr. Julia Cupp. He completed a residency at Duke University and Fellowship at Palmetto Health / USC in Emergency Medicine Ultrasound.

His interests are podcast creation, asynchronous learning, development of free and open access to medical education (FOAMed) about the point of care ultrasound (POCUS), and medical student POCUS competency research. He is actively involved in the development of curriculum in the medical school, GHS POCUS Policy, interdepartmental education recruitment of POCUS experts, and in the creation of novel ultrasound and procedural trainers in his spare time
