Dustin Balzan B.Pharm, (Hons), MSc, PTQA

Dustin Balzan is currently a Senior Pharmacist at MDH Pharmacy Quality Assurance Section, and a visiting assistant lecturer at the University of Malta on Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Quality Control. From time to time he is also involved in lecturing on quality to other university departments at post-graduate level. Institutions requesting presentations on quality care concepts from Mr. Balzan include the Malta College of Pharmacy Practice, the Malta Pharmacy Students Association and Mater Dei Hospital. Dustin Balzan studied Pharmacy at the University of Malta, and graduated in 2005.

In 2011, Mr. Balzan obtained a Masters of Science Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology and Quality Assurance from the University of Leeds, UK and is currently reading for a Pharm D collaborative programme set between the University of Malta and the University of Illinois, Chicago. Language portfolio includes Maltese, English, Italian and French and is currently studying Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic).
