Duncan Whitwell BMBS, FRCS (Orth)

Mr Duncan Whitwell is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. He also undertakes NHS clinics in Bristol, Abingdon and Newbury. He graduated from Nottingham University and trained in Bristol, Oxford and Brisbane before taking up his consultant appointment in Oxford. He specialises in the surgical treatment of hip and knee problems including revision surgery.

Mr Whitwell is also a lead consultant in the Oxford Bone and Soft Tissue Service where he specialises in treatment and reconstruction for patients with bone and soft tissue cancer. He regularly lectures on hip and knee surgery at international meetings and is a European surgical demonstrator on resurfacing hip arthroplasty.
