Dr. Drusilla Grant, a lifelong resident of Northeastern Ohio, has been practicing optometry since 1981 when she received her Doctorate of Optometry from The Ohio State University. She joined her uncle, Dr. Roderick P. Grant, in private practice at the present location until he retired. Her great-grandfather, Dr. James D. Grant, an ophthalmologist, started the practice in 1896 to be followed by Dr. L. Harrison Grant, her grandfather. She maintains this four-generation family tradition of optometric excellence and personal service for her patients.

Dr. Grant is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the College of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences and has served as a Clinical Instructor at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. She is a past-president and Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and has served on the International Examination and Certification Board of the same organization. She currently is a trustee on the Ohio Optometric Association Board. Dr. Grant has also served as Rehabilitative Vision Consultant at Hillside Hospital and Edwin Shaw Hospital. Other memberships include the American Optometric Association, the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association, and the College of Syntonics.
