Dr. Drago Jelovac is an Assistant Professor at the Clinic for Maxillofacial Surgery, School of Dental Medicine, University of Belgrade, and a highly experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specialising in reconstructive microsurgery, head and neck surgery, and craniofacial reconstruction. Since 2005, he has been actively involved in both clinical practice and academic teaching, contributing to the advancement of maxillofacial surgery through surgical innovation, research, and education.
Professor Jelovac is recognised for his expertise in complex reconstructive procedures involving the oral cavity, jaws, face, scalp, salivary glands, and neck. His clinical interests include oncologic maxillofacial surgery, facial trauma management, microsurgical tissue reconstruction, and advanced facial and neck surgery. He holds professional recognition from the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) in advanced face and neck surgery.
Throughout his career, he has participated in advanced international surgical training and fellowships across Europe and the United Kingdom, including collaborations with leading head and neck oncology and reconstructive surgery centres. His work integrates modern regenerative approaches with multidisciplinary surgical care to improve functional and aesthetic outcomes for patients.
