Douglas Salvador MD, MPH

Dr. Doug Salvador, MD, MPH, Chief Quality Officer at Baystate Medical Center (BMC), is also Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. In BMC's Department of Healthcare Quality, he works on clinical improvement projects, such as bundled payments initiatives and the patient safety program. Using his training in medicine, engineering, and epidemiology, Dr. Salvador focuses on the redesign of health care delivery systems, diagnostic error, undergraduate and postgraduate education in quality and safety, and fostering a culture of patient safety.
