Douglas S. KatzMD, FACR, FASER
Douglas S. Katz, MD, FACR, FASER is the Director of Body Imaging and Vice-Chief for Clinical Research and Education at Winthrop-University Hospital, Mineola, Long Island, NY. He has been Professor of Clinical Radiology at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Stony Brook's School of Medicine since 2003.
He hold editorial and leadership positions in a variety of regional, national, and international radiology journals and societies, has published extensively in a variety of areas with an emphasis on emergency radiology and body CT and has lectured broadly in the past 18 years at the local, regional, national, and international level. Dr. Katz has been awarded Attending of the Year five times at his institution (including twice in internal medicine), is the 2012 SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine Alumnus of the Year, and most recently was awarded his institution's top academic award, the Dr. Martin Spatz Award for Academic Excellence.
