Douglas L. Powell BS, MD

Dr. Douglas Powell is an associate professor of dermatology at the University of Utah Medical Center and is holds privileges at George Whalen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr Powell supervises the patch test clinic at the University of Utah. This also entails the teaching of many medical students, dermatology residents, and occupational medicine residents the technique and details of evaluation of contact allergies. He has also been the principle leader in the University of Utah/Ghana dermatology project in which connections with dermatologists and medical providers in Ghana have been established and teaching programs have been initiated.
