Dr. Douglas R. Fraser, M.D., FACS is Vice Chief of Trauma at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada and a proud member of the Department of Surgery. As Section Chief of Trauma Surgery, he works closely with fellows, residents, students and staff on a daily basis to provide the best possible care to critically injured patients.
A recent graduate of the Acute Care Surgery Fellowship, he has been appointed Associate Program Director of that same fellowship with plans to transition to Program Director in the near future. He completed his formal surgical training at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 2013.
