Douglas B. Fridsma MD, PhD, FACP, FACMI

Doug Fridsma, MD, Ph.D, is the Chief Science Officer and Director at the ONC's Office of Science and Technology, where he is responsible for all programs focused on providing a foundation for interoperable health information exchange.

Previous to this position, he taught in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Arizona State University and, as a practicing internal medicine physician, had a clinical practice at the Mayo Clinic Scottsdale.
