Donna Bearden MD, MPH

Donna Bearden was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Delaware. She received her BS and MD degrees from the University of South Alabama, and her MPH from UAB. After completing a fellowship in Geriatrics in 1992 at UAB, she stayed on as faculty for three years. She then left and practiced internal medicine at a UAB satellite office for twelve years. She then returned to the UAB main campus in 2007, and has worked on the geriatric consult service and the palliative care services since then.
